The equipment viewed is the result of a joint venture project between Newmech Services and Gen Ex Design Limited, bringing together engineering skills with power  generation experience, the package for an overseas Oil & Gas application required 2 x 40 foot containerised generator sets with specific filtration requirements for a  remote desert location, the equipment comprised a Cummins drive unit with a Stamford alternator product, two separate 20 foot containerised control stations provided secure remote operation for the engine packages.
